The CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) covers the Health and Safety at Work Act and other Construction Industry regulations, this course highlights the need for risk assessments in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture among the workforce.

This information together with the experience gained will enable managers to organise, monitor and measure both health and safety performance on site, and to establish and maintain safe system and safe methods of work thereby satisfying legislative requirements.

Cost: £495 (+vat) Course price includes lunch and refreshments if held at a SHEilds Training Centre. Courses can also be held at clients' premises. The CITB SMSTS course attracts a grant under the CITB Levy scheme. Typically this is made up of an attendance grant 5 days @ £35 plus an Achievement Grant of £90 totalling £265 per candidate.

Venue: Kingston upon Hull or at clients premises within the UK (minimum of 10 candidates). New training centre is opening in Dubai (United Arabic Emirates) serving clients from the Middle East.
