Course Overview
This qualification is suitable for those in the area of health and safety practice in the workplace who have authority, influence and autonomy, and aims to develop and implement good practice within a wide range of health and safety matters within the workplace.

Syllabus:
To gain this qualification you must complete all 10 mandatory units to gain the qualification.

- Unit 2 Develop and implement the health and safety policy
- Unit 3 Develop and implement effective communication systems for health and safety information
- Unit 4 Develop and maintain individual and organisational competence in health and safety matters
- Unit 5 Identify, assess and control health and safety risks
- Unit 6 Develop and implement proactive monitoring systems for health and safety
- Unit 7 Develop and implement reactive monitoring systems for health and safety
- Unit 8 Develop and implement health and safety emergency response systems and procedures
- Unit 9 Develop and implement health and safety review systems
- Unit 10 Maintain knowledge of improvements to influence health and safety practice
Study & Assessment
The learning material is provided electronically with a guidebook and assessment plan. The Tutorial/Assessment team monitor your progress to offer you support and guidance throughout your qualification. Assessment is by production of a personal portfolio demonstrating understanding and application of the standards at this level; this is greatly simplified by our eLearning platform, where evidence can be electronically submitted.
