There are four major course Units (A, B, C & D) to successfully complete before you become fully certified with the NEBOSH International Diploma qualification.
The written examinations are held twice each year and are to be taken on location at a registered NEBOSH examination centre.
The examinations are scheduled on NEBOSH standard examination dates in the months of January and July. Examinations comprise of one 3-hour written paper for each of the core unit modules (Unit A, Unit B & Unit C), which means there are three, 3-hour examinations in total for all core units.
Students must also complete workplace based assignments for the Unit D module.
Written Exam Papers
The core Unit exam papers will be marked by approved NEBOSH examiners that provide basic feedback and an overall grade. You need to gain a minimum passing grade of 54 out of 120 marks (that’s 45% to pass) for each of the core Unit exam papers.
Unit D Assignment
The Unit D assignments are graded by NEBOSH examiners accompanied with an on-going discussion log, which is maintained with your assigned NEBOSH Diploma SHEilds Tutor as evidence for your contribution and understanding of the assignment.
IMPORTANT! Only students who have enrolled with NEBOSH through an accredited NEBOSH Diploma training centre are eligible to register for the examination.
