I started as an apprentice, PA to Directors. Decided I didn’t want to go to University after College so opted for an apprenticeship to gain experience from a working environment.

Who I interact with as part of my Role and what my day to day job consists of
Recently promoted to the role of UK Operations Manager from UK Administration Manager. This is a diverse role and does differ from day to day but mainly the role entails managing Admin support staff and Exams Officers and ensuring office working systems and operations run smoothly, including international exam schedules. I also look after the companies Human Resources and Quality from inductions, recruitment to policy writing.
Biggest achievement whilst working for SHEilds
Various Internal promotions whilst working for SHEilds from starting as an apprentice at 18 years old. Now I manage a great team and have a diverse role. I have also achieved a CIPD L3 and L5 in HR management.
Interesting facts outside of SHEilds
When I was younger I used to swim competitively, Nationally travelled all the UK and had the opportunity to go to Australia with the British team.

Hobbies / Past times
Hobbies and past times over the last 3 years have been renovating the house we bought. Now it’s all finished, I need a new hobby....
I have two pugs, I do enjoy taking the dogs for long walks at the weekend out of the city.

My advice / tips on successfully completing a SHEilds course
Utilise your tutor, they are contactable over the telephone and email. Don’t rush to book the exams, plan your study and register when you feel ready and confident.
