How long is the IOSH Managing Safely Rail course?
The course is approximately 3 days (22 hours) long learning time, plus 60 minutes for the written examination and further time for the practical risk assessment, but as this is e-learning, you have the flexibility to study in your own time at your own pace. With 6 months of access to complete this online course within our easy-to-use eLearning platform, there are no tight deadlines and no pressure.
How is this IOSH Managing Safely course assessed?
There is a short, online multi-format, 35-question paper that learners will complete. Upon successful completion of the examination paper, students will then complete a practical assessment which involves identifying and assessing risks and how to control these, within a working environment. Once a student has successfully completed the course the student will then populate an easy-to-use form to request their IOSH Managing Safely in Rail certificate and we’ll arrange delivery.
