You must have previously passed the IOSH Managing Safely course and have your certificate number.

The student must have an appropriate understanding of the English language in order to understand and express the concepts within the course syllabus.

Questions within IOSH examinations are all phrased in English. Your answers are also required to be provided in English.

As long as you meet the required standard of English, you can enrol on this course.

Course Assessment

One Written Exam

There is one online examination to pass and to submit online.

Students get 6 months access and a maximum of 2 attempts at the course assessment.

How the Managing Safely course is graded

The IOSH Managing safely Refresher consists of:

One online multi-choice examination consisting of 21 interactive questions.

Course grades are based on percentages, as follows:

0 – 62.4 percent: Refer
62.5 percent and above: Pass

Exam Fees

All examination and registration fees are included within your course fee.

There may be a fee to post your IOSH Refresher Certificate on completion depending on delivery location.

Steps to Pass

There are 3 steps to passing the IOSH Managing Safely Refresher Qualification.

Once the online exam is submitted, you’ll receive your final grade instantly.
