I contacted Mike Shields when I couldn't continue my NVQ 4 with the other service provider at Abu Dhabi during June 2004. There was none and at present also in UAE who can deliver NVQ 4. I was completely ready with the 13 units of NVQ 4 and contacted Mike Shields. Mike Shields immediately acted and sent Chris Hyam, Internal Assessor for the assessment which took exactly full 2 days. Within a week period it was internally verified by Mike Shields helped to obtain MIIRSM and IOSH Membership. I applied my CV to many organisations and received a lot of positive replies from UK, UAE and other countries too.

Al Naboodah Laing O'Rourke called me for an interview for the position of Sub Contractor's Health and Safety Manager (4000 workers) to manage at Dubai International Airport Terminal 3 Fit out project and confirmed my employment only because of I possess NVQ-4 qualifications (Al Naboodah Laing O'Rourke consider HSE as paramount)

I have been working with Al Naboodah Laing O'Rourke and obtained NVQ 5 in OSHP within 12 weeks time and received OCR certification on 14/8/06. Mr. Mike Shields, Mr. Mike Watson and Peter were highly supportive in my NVQ achievements.
