| | · What will the course involve? This course assesses and builds on competencies required to the standard as set by the awarding bodies of this qualification. Competencies assessed cover a very broad range of hazard/risk situations. You will demonstrate how you: Maintain and enhance Health and Safety systems for complex risks; Seek, evaluate and organise information for action; Contribute to, and keep pace with improvements in practice; Promote a positive culture of Health and Safety for complex tasks; Contribute to the maintenance and the development of emergency response capability. | | · What are the Entry Requirements? There are no formal requirements (however a NEBOSH certificate or Diploma part1 is desirable) but candidates need to have sufficient Health & Safety responsibilities, and preferably in a managerial role. [ Back to Top ]
| | · What memberships can I get after qualifying? Together with three years Health and Safety experience you can gain full corporate membership of the Institute of Safety and Health (IOSH) and can then use the designatory letters ‘MIOSH’ after your name. In addition when you receive your OCR certificate you may also use the designatory letters ‘Dip.RSA’ after your name (A diploma of a Verified Qualification awarded by the Royal Society of Arts).
