Introduction
SHEilds
was first established in 1995 by its founder Mike Shields. For the most
part Mike concentrated on offering a quality local consultancy service
and building a local client base. In the background Mike was developing
the SHEilds websites for the future.
In
December 2002 Mike incorporated the company and was joined by Mike
Watson. Between them they have built a successful business that
operates in several countries around the world.
In 2005, just 10 years after the foundation of
SHEilds Ltd, they founded SHEilds (ME) Ltd with offices based in the
heart of Dubai and where joined by a new Director for this venture,
Professor Peter Barnet Schuster.
Mike
Shields & Mike Watson’s latest venture is in India with the
formation of SHEilds (India) Ltd where they have appointed an executive
business consultant.
Mike Shields original objective has not been lost.
Our quality of service and training materials is second to none, we
treat every client as an individual and our main objective is to raise

training.

At SHEilds we specialise in supporting businesses in
their safety, health and environmental needs, ensuring that the moral
and legal obligations placed on them are met in full. We offer a
comprehensive range of safety, health, environmental and hygiene
services and training packages. We aim to ensure that our clients
maximize their business potential through reducing lost time accidents,
ill health, legal costs and insurance costs.
We work on a consultancy basis with many
organisations including, engineering, construction, rail, chemical, and
care and retail sectors. We also support other health and safety
consultancies, acting as their health, safety, environmental and
hygiene specialists.
SHEilds have a capacity building programme that
allows businesses to build health and safety competence from within
their organisation. We work alongside managers and staff, supporting
them at all levels and when required acting as our clients named
competent specialist within pertinent legal documents.

is owned by Mike Shields and Mike Watson equally. The two Mikes have
known each other both as friends and business partners for more than 20
years. .

Mike has been a Health, Safety and Hygiene Consultant
since 1995. Previously to founding SHEilds Mike was employed in a
Senior Management position for a multinational company, Mike then
joined a UK based charity to implement a nation wide health and safety
risk reduction program.

Mike has been employed in a health and safety management since 1985, His experience includes engineering and health care.
Prior to joining SHEilds Mike was employed as the Chief Executive for a UK based Voluntary organisation.
