    Accredited Provider of ProQual NVQ Level 6

    SHEilds are proud to announce we received our accreditation from ProQual to provide NVQ Level 6 in Health and Safety Practice.

  • NEBOSH Best Candidates

    Two SHEilds students become best NEBOSH candidate of the year, one for the International Diploma for two consecutive years in a row and another for the National Fire Certificate. SHEilds Director Paul Nock was also present at the ceremony and was proud to award the NEBOSH Environmental Diploma award for best candidate. He also offered support to congratulate all graduates and meet some of the SHEilds students face-to-face.

    Became an ILM Approved centre

    Today the ‘Institute of Leadership and Management’ – part of the City & Guilds group, confirmed SHEilds status as an ILM Approved training centre.

    SHEilds are accredited to deliver ILM qualifications Worldwide via online learning as of 16th February 2016.

    These qualifications include:

    • Level 3 Diploma in Management.
    • Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Management.
    • Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Management and Leadership.

  • SHEilds Foundation was established

    SHEilds Foundation Charity was Established in 2015, allowing SHEilds to give-back to notable organisations in an effort to promote worldwide safety, the SHEilds Foundation Charity was established 2015

    The idea for the foundation came years ago, when CEO Mike Shields wanted to give back to the local community through health and safety training. It was put in practice in 2015 and the foundation and committee were created.

    The committee is made up of staff and external people who all share the same passion and drive to give back to the local community. Having local offices around the globe we can reach more local projects and put back in to more communities. Annually the committee vote on which 3 charities to support for that year.

    This year our 3 charities in the Hull and East riding area are:

    We organise several fundraisers throughout the year to raise money and awareness for each charity and take part in many volunteering schemes throughout the Humber region and worldwide.

    All money we raise through any of our events is given straight back to the charity and all donations are welcome, big or small.

    Became the world’s first IOSH Managing Safely eLearning provider

    SHEilds became the world’s first IOSH Managing Safely eLearning provider. Since 2006, SHEilds officially became the very first eLearning provider of the Managing Safely course. Today we are still pioneering course creators and have more recently (2015) redeveloped this course to meet the version 4.0 standards, which contain the most recent updates from IOSH. Look out for other up and coming courses from IOSH, such as the latest Working Safely, which again has been designed ahead of IOSH’s very own classroom taught rendition.
