What does SHEilds offer?
SHEilds provide NEBOSH training courses to prepare students for their examinations and assessments in order to become qualified professionals.
NEBOSH Training Courses
There are three primary levels of NEBOSH courses. Certification is split into Award, Certificate and Diploma levels. At SHEilds we concentrate on providing Certificate and Diploma training.
As your safety requirements change you can move through each level, gaining the necessary skills to operate safely within any business; and within the remits of Law!
Courses leading to NEBOSH health & safety qualifications attract around 35,000 candidates annually, with exams taken in over 90 countries around the world.
NEBOSH qualifications are recognised by relevant professional membership bodies including:
- The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
- The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM); and
- The Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).
How are NEBOSH courses assessed?
NEBOSH courses are assessed by taking in-person examinations and/or assessments, which are set by NEBOSH’s own professionally qualified staff. External examiners also assist with assessment; most of whom are Chartered Safety and Health Practitioners (CMIOSH) operating within an industry, the public sector or in enforcement.
The technical standards are overseen by a Qualification and Technical Council with representatives drawn from national institutions.
How is NEBOSH eLearning examined?
NEBOSH eLearning courses are examined in exactly the same way as classroom taught courses. You must attend a registered examination centre personally to take the exams. You may also be required to perform a practical report depending on your chosen course of study.
