Online Remote Exams*

NEBOSH exams are now taken online remotely and there is no requirement to attend an examination centre*

NEBOSH online exams/assessments are available for booking throughout the year. Current online examinations/assessments are available to book through the SHEilds website and links are published to students within our online learning system with available dates to choose from.

*NEBOSH exams are only online for students studying a new qualification specification excluding the NEBOSH International Oil and Gas Certificate.

REGISTERING FOR A NEBOSH EXAM

NEBOSH examinations can be booked in advance and in most cases up to 4-5 weeks prior to any examination date. Once an exam date is no longer available for further bookings, it will be removed from selection and replaced with a new date in the next examination year.

Any student that has paid their exam fees along with their course purchase, can simply contact us to be placed on the required exam.

Details for each NEBOSH exam fee can be found on the relevant qualification page within our site or by following the published links provided to our students.

Things to note: It’s important to us that we keep NEBOSH exam fees for all students to a minimum.

  • Prices vary on exam venue location and are subject to change.
  • You must be an existing SHEilds student to book your NEBOSH exam with us.
  • NEBOSH exam registration closing dates can be found on the relevant shop page.
  • NEBOSH Exam Fees do not include Practical Assessment fees, which you need to book separately (see below).
  • A NEBOSH Enrolment fee is payable for first time registration of new Specification NEBOSH Diploma level qualifications only.

*NEBOSH Non-Online Examinations (Old specification)

SHEilds still offer exams for students still completing the courses under the old specification such as the certificate level NFC/IFC/ICC/NCC/IGC/NGC/EC/IOG and Diplomas. These will be available until July 2023 and then these exams will be discontinued by NEBOSH.  The exams will be available for online bookings during quarterly scheduled registration periods. These will be advertised within in our e-learning platforms on our news & announcements forums. SHEilds students will also receive email notification.  Please note that these registration periods will also include the offer of the IOG Exams.  Contact the exams team for further information.

*NEBOSH Diploma Exams (Old specification)

SHEilds will continue to offer the Diploma exams (Units A, B, C & DNI) until their discontinuation in 2026. As per the current non-online exams, as these exams require venue attendance, SHEilds will advise of registration schedules for the exams that will take place each February & July.  Booking links will be available during the registration periods and these will be advertised on the learning system.

*Please note: For IOSH students the exams are taken online. For ProQual and City & Guilds NVQ students, the course is entirely coursework-based and does not require sitting an exam.
